Kia America is charging full speed ahead. August 2025 marked a historic milestone for the brand, with a record-breaking 83,007 units sold — the highest monthly total in Kia’s U.S. history. That’s a 10.4% jump over August 2024 and only the second time Kia has crossed the 80,000-unit threshold in a single month. Year-to-date sales are also surging, up 8.6% overall, with retail sales climbing 10.3%.
EV Momentum: Kia’s Electric Lineup Powers Forward
Kia’s electric vehicle portfolio continues to impress, led by the flagship EV9. In August alone, the EV9 posted 2,679 units sold — a 54% increase over July. The EV6 and Niro EV followed suit with month-over-month growth of 39% and 57%, respectively. That marks four straight months of EV sales growth, reinforcing Kia’s position as a rising force in the electrified segment
