Genesis and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation are championing the next generation of innovators with a significant $40,000 contribution to the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club in Savannah, Georgia. The donation will bolster the club’s science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education programs.
Investing in Young Minds
This latest donation builds on a partnership that began in 2022 and comes from Genesis Gives, the company’s corporate social responsibility initiative focused on STEAM education. The Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club uses these programs to empower its young members, helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by creating solutions to real-world challenges.

The Genesis Inspiration Foundation, which has partnered with the club since 2023, is also a key supporter, providing funding for arts education. The foundation’s support has helped programs like “Music is Magic” and film production classes thrive, highlighting the proven benefits of art in boosting creativity and academic performance.
“At Genesis, we are passionate about investing in the future generation of leaders and innovators,” said Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility for Genesis Motor America. “All children deserve access to thought-provoking STEAM educational experiences that open new horizons towards potential career paths.”

Mark Lindsay, CEO of the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club, shared his gratitude, calling the contribution a “game-changer.” He added, “Their continued support not only expands access to vital STEAM education but also inspires our kids to dream bigger and believe in their potential to shape the future.”

Hands-On Learning Near the New HMGMA Plant
Genesis also brought its commitment to life with a hands-on STEAM workshop at May River High School in Bluffton, South Carolina. The school is located near the new Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), the first dedicated electric vehicle mass-production plant for Hyundai Motor Group.
In partnership with Child Creativity Lab, the workshop gave students an inside look at the Genesis product planning process, including a detailed look at the GV60 SUV. Students then became designers themselves, creating their own future mobility concepts using upcycled materials. This creative exercise not only introduced students to concepts of mobility and clean energy but also highlighted the diverse career paths available in the automotive industry.
Through these initiatives, Genesis continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering innovation and creativity in the communities it serves, especially in areas vital to its future, like the HMGMA community.
